Maui Weekend Events – June 21

Aloha friends! This weekend on Maui has some great things in store. This Saturday’s race is hosted by Lahaina and takes off from Hanakao’o Beach. Maui’s 1st Annual Brazil Festival takes place this Saturday. Maoli will be at the MACC this Saturday night. Friday night, the Grand Wailea honors the solstice and the full moon with a special night of wellness. And finally, in honor of pride month, the Grand is hosting a special brunch this Sunday and next.

Saturday’s Race is hosted by Lahaina and takes off from Hanakao’o Beach.  This will be an all-day event with races, food and community. Check out Hawaiian Canoe Club for Race Schedule and more.

Maui’s 1st Annual Brazil Festival.

This Saturday, we have the 1st Annual Brazil Festival of Maui. The event will be held at the Paia Heritage Hall from 6 pm – 9 pm. Festival features delicious Brazilian soul food, music, kids’ games face painting, art and vendors. Entry tickets are $10.  $30 will get you entry and food. Kids under 14 are free. Music by the incredible Marauak!

Maoli:  Boots on the Ground Tour Hawaii

Maoli brings his Boots on the Ground Hawaii Tour to the MACC’s Yokouchi Pavilion and Amphitheater this Saturday. Show starts at 6 pm. Gates open at 4:30 pm. Special Guests Western Conference, Akoni Palomino, and TJ Fevella. Preconcert food and beverages available beginning at 5 pm.

Full Moon Summer Solstice and Rose’ and Rainbows Brunch

The Grand Wailea is hosting two great events this weekend. Friday evening, honor the solstice and full moon with a special evening of wellness. The experience includes a 2-hour Hydrotherapy Gardens pass at Kilolani Spa, a floating sound bath, Wellness Mocktails and a personalized astrology reading. Tickets $250 per person and space is limited.

This Sunday and next, The Grand Wailea hosts a special Rosé and Rainbows Brunch to celebrate Maui Pride Month from 11 am – 2 pm. The brunch will feature a smoked carving station, fresh ceviche bar, oysters, snow crab, shrimp cocktail, and a complimentary glass of rosé. Proceeds will be donated to the Maui AIDS Foundation.
