Kuilima East on Oahu’s North Shore

There’s a reason why I love Kuilima East located at Turtle Bay on Oahu’s North Shore. Actually, there are lots of reasons. It’s a gated community with a beautiful pool and tennis courts. If you are like me, you’ll love the peace and quiet of Kuilima. You’ll enjoy the lush landscaping and nice amenities. Not to mention, the close proximity to some of Oahu’s best beaches and trails. But, my favorite reason is the dramatic sunrises you can see from your own lanai. They are show-stopping!

Recently, I stayed at our condo in Kuilima and enjoyed a spectacular sunrise. There is nothing like seeing the sun come over the horizon and experiencing the expectation of a new day. A new beginning. The sunrise reminds me that even during a time like COVID-19, we are promised new beginnings, fresh starts, and second chances. Yes, I love the sheer beauty of a sunrise, but I also love what a sunrise represents — newness!

Units Available For Rent or Purchase

If you find yourself in need of encouragement, refreshment, or just a change of scenery, check out Kuilima East. Now that we are in the second tier of Oahu‘s re-opening, there are units available to rent. Better yet, consider buying your own home away from home. There are currently two available one-bedroom units on the market ranging in the low $500k range. Maintenance fees are reasonable and it’s well-managed. You might also consider Kuilima West. If sunsets are what you are after, they are spectacular! You really can’t go wrong either way — both communities are perfect for anyone wanting a taste of the north shore.

As for me, I’ll stick to those magnificent sunrises and the promise of new beginnings. A promise that each day is a chance for me to be better and to do better.
