Week 26—Plantation Muffins!

Plantation Muffins Recipe

  • 1 1/3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Macadamia Honey

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl sift together all purpose flour, wholewheat flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat together milk, egg, honey, and melted butter; stir into flour mixture. Spoon into greased muffin pan to half full. Bake 15 to 18 minutes. Allow to cook for a few minutes, then remove muffins from pan and place on cooling rack. Makes 12.
