Spotlight on Leon Williams – A Performer Who Brings World-Class Talent To Our Local Stage
Born in Brooklyn, Leon Williams is one of the most dynamic people on our statewide team. A classically trained singer, he has shared the concert and opera stages with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra and world-class artists at Hawaii Opera Theatre.
Leon toured extensively with singing groups as a teenager before completing a Bachelor of Music at the Westminster Choir College at Rider University, in Princeton, New Jersey. He then graduated with a Master of Music from The Juilliard School.
Leon’s travels as a performer have taken him all over the world, with visits to Japan, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Norway, France, and all 50 states. Along the way, he met interesting people who have shaped his unique perspective on the world.
A Powerful Voice For His Clients
Leon has been a licensed real estate professional in Hawaii for seven years. His favorite part of the job? “People, people and more people. Serving people, helping people, encouraging people, inspiring people and loving people,” says Leon. “I love my Hawaii Life because it enables me to interact in many ways with people from all over the world who are usually expecting a once in a lifetime experience in Hawaii.”
His own life experiences serve as a powerful foundation for this line of work since he is often required to manage family dynamics, mediate discord and solve differences through the negotiation process, ensuring each transaction stays on track. Having adapted to many cultures and countries in his travels, he is skilled at avoiding disruptions that can occur due to confusion or disagreements amongst sellers, buyers, and their family members. He’s good at smoothing the path to success.
He’s a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) as well as a Seller’s Representative Specialist (SRS). One of his biggest accomplishments has been listing and closing on a multi-million dollar property in the short span of six weeks.
Oahu’s Inspiring People & Places
When he’s off the clock, Leon commits his time leading worship at First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu. “I persistently make an effort to identify ways that I can have a positive impact on the State of Hawaii and all who live here or visit here,” says Leon. “My primary goal is to give out of the store of my strengths and gifts and watch how that gesture miraculously turns into a benefit for me, as well as the recipient.”
In addition to his love for music, Leon enjoys comedy movies and performances. One of his favorite things is making his friends and family laugh. “I also love long road trips, driving without directions or GPS, and enjoying the surprise and adventure of ending up in an unplanned location or destination.”
He enjoys driving the winding Kalanianaole Highway that traces the ridge between Kalama Valley and Waimanalo. “I also love visiting Tropical Farms of Hawaii in Kaneohe where a team of Chief Sielu Avea’s protégées enchant and delight the guests with an abridged introduction to Hawaii’s trees, fruits, flowers, culture and comedy,” he says.
The aloha spirit is such an integral part of life in Hawaii and it has made a deep impression on Leon, who has lived on O‘ahu since 2004. He’s developed a deep admiration for the uniquely beautiful aspects of life in Hawaii. “I never tire of watching magnificent Hula,” he says, ‘The dedication and devotion to culture and the synchronicity of a well-seasoned Hula Halau excites me every time.”
Why Hawaii Life?
Leon joined the team at Hawaii Life in early 2019 and credits his decision to the company’s “clear commitment to excellence, preserving the beauty and uniqueness of Hawaii Life and introducing a platform for continued exploration and progress toward making life better, cleaner and more qualitative.”
He enjoys partnering with other agents in the belief that there is considerable benefit to pooling resources and applying each person’s unique strengths and gifts to resolve problems and generate positive outcomes. “Building a strong network is crucial to my success and my ability to communicate unity and solidarity to potential real estate clients.”
According to Leon, the company culture breathes and allows for freedom and individuality while maintaining “an undeniable standard of excellence, taste, class and dignity,” says Leon. “I love being in an environment where I can feel free to create and experiment but also be supported with a solid foundation of knowledge and experience,” said Leon.

Leon Williams is a real inspiration. His music give me a big lift, but I would like to hear/see more of his work. Does he come to the Mainland to perform? If so, where and when?
