Years ago, living in Hawaii, some wouldn’t even consider a ride out to the Leeward Side of Oahu (the West Side). Now with all that is going on from Waianae to Waikele, it’s simply amazing.
A drive down the Waianae coast takes you to some of the best beaches on the island. You now see road improvements, new construction, and new life in Waianae. With the first stop of the new rail in Kapolei to the upgraded and newly refurbished Waikele Premium Outlets, the electric energy can be felt on the West Side.
The homes in areas that had been quiet are now selling almost overnight and increasing in value. With the new Kamakana Ali’i mall showing some real signs of getting open, why live anywhere else on the island? We now have it all on the Leeward or West Side.
We have some great expanded road ways, easy access to H1, new malls and now brand new hotels, movie theaters, rail, and restaurants. This includes the first on-island Applebee’s in Ewa opening soon. This is where all the new construction’s coming and this is truly the pace to live on Oahu. We are close to everything but yet far enough away to feel all the Aloha the West Side has to offer.
