Each Thursday morning the West Hawaii Association of Realtors (WHAR) sponsors a caravan of available listings in Kona. The primary purpose is to provide an opportunity for listing agents to open their new, or recently price-reduced listings for other local Realtors to preview, but this venue also facilitates networking among the Realtors affiliate service providers such as escrow, title, loan officers, and inspectors at the meeting to introduce us all to the caravan list for the day.
I regularly attend this extremely informative meeting as one of the many ways I stay abreast with the local market happenings. Plus, as President of the West Hawaii Association of Realtors this year, it’s good for me to be “out among the people.” Seriously, the networking that goes on at this event is crucial to success selling real estate in Kailua-Kona.
What a gorgeously clear Kona day for the first caravan of 2011! There were several wonderful homes to choose from today—inventory is growing, giving buyers many options.
Located at a cool elevation, this home features a fabulous view of Kailua Bay overlooking the in-ground pool. The circular driveway entrance and colorful landscaping lead you towards a delightful floor plan designed by renowned architect Lucky Bennet.
With Koa cabinets, skylights, granite counter top, gas range, and open beam 9 ft. ceiling, the kitchen immediately invites you in for a closer look. The main floor bedrooms are on separate sides of the living area. The lower level space off the pool is wonderful for entertaining, and also includes a large storage area.
It’s a buyer’s market in Kona. Isn’t it time for you to begin living your best Hawaii Life?
