Aloha friends and Happy Thanksgiving! There is so much to be grateful for. Especially for those of us fortunate enough to make Maui home. This year, society opened back up and events came back live after the pandemic pause. It was easy to find myself grateful for being out again. I realized though what was special wasn’t just being out at events. Though that has been great! 😊 But really, what makes them great is the people sharing the experience. I’m grateful to you all for sharing this Hawaii Life with me.
This weekend is mostly about Thanksgiving carryover and shopping. Events are quiet for the most part, but there are plenty of food drives and opportunities to support your local small business owners. We still have Kihei 4th Friday taking place. On Saturday, Maui Mall hosts Small Business Saturday with live music and entertainment. Additionally, Maui Brewing hosts a beer garden supporting local small businesses with a shopping day. Then on Sunday, Krishna Das leads his annual Thanksgiving kirtan/satsang in Napili.
Kihei 4th Friday
Kihei 4th Friday town party takes place on the fourth Friday of every month. This is such a fun event for the family with over 20 food truck vendors, Local Retail Vendors. There is also a keiki zone with face painting, balloon twisting, hula hoops, bubbles and quick science.
