Aloha, friends! ‘Tis the Season on Maui! Most of the events, at this point, are Christmas themed. This weekend offers several opportunities to celebrate the season as well as the Maui Comic Con. The Hui Holiday Santa’s Workshop is this Saturday. This is also Lahaina 2nd Friday and they will be doing a special screening of our favorite Christmas movie, Elf! Also on the West Side, a 6-foot Snowman and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at Campbell Park this Saturday for photos.
Maui Comic Con
The Maui Comic Con takes place this weekend Saturday and Sunday. This is a free event hosted by a non-profit organization, and you can donate on the site. This year’s special guests are Frank Cho, Agnes Garbowska, David Nakayama, and Geof Isherwood. There will also be several local artists on site you can get to know. You can shop local vendors and sponsors as well. This year will be the first year for a Cosplay Competition. Registration info at site.

Lahaina 2nd Friday and Elf Outdoor Screening
Maui Friday Town Parties bring the community together for a pau hana night of music, art, food, and Maui culture. Friday night is Art Night in Lahaina every week. 2nd Friday brings additional local vendors to the party. Also on the agenda this month is a FREE outdoor movie night at the Lahaina Jodo Mission. Elf will be shown and complimentary popcorn while supplies last will be provided by Kohola Brewery. Bring snacks and nonalcoholic beverages. Mats, blankets, or low beach chairs are recommended as seating is not provided. Movie starts at 7:00 PM

Hui Holidays Santa’s Workshop
This Saturday, head to the Kaluanui Estate for an exciting holiday family event takes place from 10am-4pm. This is a great opportunity for community to enjoy art, music, and fun at the Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center. Santa Claus on site and a free keiki art activity from 10 am – noon. Live music by George Kahumoko Jr. Support local artists at this Santa’s Workshop event.

Santa and Mrs. Claus at Campbell Park
The Lahaina Restoration Foundation is hosting a few events this month in celebration of Christmas. The Banyan Tree will be lit nightly from 5:30 pm to midnight through the month of December. Wreath Making Workshop at the Baldwin Home Museum takes place this Friday. On Saturday, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand at Campbell Park. There will also be a great photo opportunity with a 6-foot Snowman and holiday cookies to decorate. Next week features a Snow Zone on Saturday the 17th. The sellers were happy to receive an offer a hair shy of their list price and close the process in just over a couple months. The buyers are also stoked. Just goes to show no matter the market conditions, proper pricing will always get results! Always grateful for smooth processes.
