Hapuna Beach Residences – Almost Half Sold

It has been over a year since I blogged about the opening of the model home at the Hapuna Beach Residences, and about 2-1/2 years since I first toured the construction site where the Hapuna hotelʻs oceanfront suites were being converted to condominiums.

Despite the Covid-19 interlude when hotels were closed and travel to the Big Island essentially on pause, the project is almost half sold. To date, 26 units have already closed, three are in escrow, and that leaves 39 remaining. A buyer still has a good variety of options, and with the project essentially complete, you can actually tour each of the available units.

Some may prefer the upper floors for the expansive views. I am partial to the ground floor units with their plunge pools and direct beach access.

Current listings for Hapuna Beach Residences range from $3,375,000 for a 2-bedroom with a generous 1,486 sq ft, to $8,995,000 for the only remaining 4-bedroom home with a private pool. Vacation Rentals Begin at Hapuna Beach Residences

Owners and rental guests enjoy the proximity of the beach and the amenities of the Westin Hapuna hotel and Mauna Kea resort.

Owners who wish to welcome rental guests when they are not in residence can do so. Rentals are managed by Prince Resorts Hawaii’s Mauna Kea Residences in partnership with East West Hospitality of Colorado. Currently rates range from $700 per night to $4,000 per night, so if you want to try before you buy, that is also an option.
