A Handy Hawaii Kai Restaurant Guide During Coronavirus
Being a realtor specializing in the Hawaii Kai area since the early 1990s, I’ve seen a lot of establishments come and go. Self-employed myself, and in the past struggling to stay afloat during hard times, I learned to appreciate the local eateries in the neighborhood. Some have big chain names, but really it’s ordinary people like you and me who run the businesses. Most of these restaurants still exist, but some are struggling to stay open. Their once filled dining areas that were piled with patrons and wait staff, are now laying baron as this pandemic continues. If you look down the list, you may be surprised to rediscover a restaurant that you forgot existed! The restaurant names, times of operation and their phone numbers are listed below by the shopping center locations and are in alphabetical order. You may want to call the establishment ahead of time to verify if their hours of operation are still the same. Some of them told me business hours are always subject to change.

> That is so funny John! At my house everyone gets excited when I don’t cook and they get to eat out! Let’s just say my husband didn’t marry me because of my cooking! Thank you for your reply and kind words!
Since my post, Mexican Fiesta, Pa’ina Cafe, Starbucks and Jamba Juice have re-opened so I’ve been told and Kona Brewing is now closed for take – out.
Like I said the opening times are subject to change – in most cases for the better!

Very kind of you to do this. Helpful when no one of 6 in the house ever wants the same thing!
