Where to Shop & Eat in Ewa Beach, Oahu

The city of Ewa Beach on the West side of Oahu has tons of homes, cars, and residents, but the one thing they had notoriously been missing for the longest time, was stores. By that, I mean shopping, businesses, and restaurants.  Thankfully this has changed in recent years, so if you reside in Ewa currently, you don’t have to go out of the neighborhood to get most of your needs met.

In late 2012, Laulani Village Shopping Center opened with Safeway as its anchor store. This location is open 24 hours and contains its own Starbucks, across from the standalone Starbucks that offers a drive-through option. There’s also a Safeway gas station and mini-mart, with discounted gas when you shop at Safeway.

Currently, shops in Laulani Village include Walgreens, City Mill Hardware, Petco and a Ross store. There are lots of quick food choices like McDonalds and Teddy’s Burgers, along with other Korean, Thai, Ramen, Filipino, and Chinese food options to satisfy most of your cravings. While I love Buffalo Wild Wings, it is now the only restaurant here since Russo’s closed, which many were disappointed about. Interestingly, it will be replaced by Domino’s Pizza shortly…not sure how I feel about that.

For services, you have a nail salon, Supercuts, several Wireless stores, a UPS shipping store, GNC vitamin store and an American Savings Bank with a drive-through. In addition, there’s also a dental office, Allstate Insurance, H&R Block tax service and the best real estate company in the state, namely Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers!

Okay, I’m a little biased about this last company…but seriously, the real estate agents here rock! We are located on the 2nd floor above the UPS store and house a Military Specialized Team to service All military members that are buying or selling in West Oahu.

If you need a dose of a real mall, then check out Ka Makana Ali’I just a few driving minutes away, between Ewa and Kapolei. It’s a newer mall with many more restaurants and shops!
