The Palama Beach & Nomilo Pond Estate ~ Ultra Private Large Acreage Beachfront Offering
To kick off 2016, we are excited to offer one of Kauai’s largest beachfront estates for sale – a divine, neighborless, 59-acre parcel nestled amongst a coffee plantation. This beautiful, undeveloped, beachfront acreage entitles its owner to so many of the Hawaii lifestyle activities we love, all within the private confines of your own backyard (MLS# 289503).
Noteworthy Features
The property has several unique features that make it such an incredible playground. Its key feature: well over 500 feet of beach frontage. The parcel abuts the full length of the white sand shores of Palama Beach – a more than 500 foot stretch of beautiful shoreline that is rarely trafficked due to its difficult accessibility. It is as close to a “private” beach as one can have.
Offset from the beach is a small sloped hillside, the top of which can serve as a majestic perch for one of up to the fives homes (any Buyer must confirm with County) this property has rights to. From this vantage, a potential home sits out of the flood zone, looks down across the entirety of Palama Beach, and offers extensive coastal views to the east towards Poipu’s Spouting Horn and the west towards Makaokahai Point.
In addition to Palama Beach, the property also fronts two other sandy coves bordered by rugged lava coastline – perfect spots for a private day at your backyard beach. The coastal stretch that borders this property is ideal for fishing, snorkeling, swimming, and even features an idyllic surf spot.
A few hundred feet inland from the western beaches of the property is a 17-acre freshwater pond fed by natural springs. This breathtaking feature is bordered by a small ridge on one side and sloped hills with lush vegetation along much of its perimeter. A gorgeous setting for a kayak or SUP along Nomilo’s placid waters.
While we are lucky to say that we see beautiful properties all the time, it is extremely rare to come across such a pristine, undeveloped piece of private, beachfront acreage as this.

Hello Neal,
I am interested to know more about this property, especially about the Nomilo pond:
What type of fish?
Is it salt or fresh water?
The average water temperature?
Is its water clean enough to swim in it?
Does it connect to the ocean water in any way?
Is the pond water natural or treated with chemicals?
Have the fish always been there or were added to the pond by humans?
Why is the color of the water so dark?
Are the fish in the pond treated with hormones and/or chemicals?
Please let me know,
Regards,
Dr. Rouya
