3 Bedroom Princeville Home on the Makai Golf Course Offers Peaceful Kauai Living

There are two very well-known golf courses in Princeville. The Prince Golf Course, which is now closed for renovations, and the Makai Golf Course. Makai in Hawaii means towards or by the sea; seaward. Unbeknownst to most people (other than local golf lovers) in Princeville as part of the Makai Golf Course, there is “the Woods Nine.”

What is the Woods Nine?

The Woods Nine consist of a nine-hole golf course that is part of the Makai Course. The part that is in the woods, or not seaward (compared to the other 18 holes). Being that it is not as well-known, having a home on the Woods Nine comes with a couple of big advantages:

1. It is so peaceful! It’s not a busy course where you are going to see and hear people playing golf all day. In fact…you might not see anyone play on it.

2. It feels like you have a super big backyard that you don’t have to take care of! When you look out onto your backyard, you’ll see green grass, Norfolk pines, palm trees, and mountains. Most of if you won’t have to take care of yourself!

3. There isn’t a busy road on the other side with traffic noise…it’s just serene, quiet, peaceful, and green.
