Old Kapaa Town Art Walk – First Saturday

On the first Saturday of every month we have an Art Walk in downtown Kapaa. This is a fun and lively event that brings together visitors and residents from all over the island to enjoy the festivities.

Come For the Fun

At the Old Kapaa Town Art Walk, vendors set up booths on the sidewalks throughout downtown Kapaa. There is a wide range of offerings, including arts and crafts, a variety of foods, and informational presentations from local organizations. Many of the island’s fabulous food trucks come to Kapaa for the event, and live musicians fill the air with all kinds of music. There is even dancing.

The Old Kapaa Town Art Walk brings out the crowd, and as the evening goes on the festivities get very lively

Sometimes there are presentations in the alley next to the Hawaii Life office. This was the setup for Apollo Kauai, for their video presentation on conservation and renewable energy.

The Kapaa Art Walk has grown into a very popular, well attended event. Also, of course, it is fun.

Stop By & Say Hi

We will be having the Hawaii Life Kapaa office open this Saturday (October 4) for the October Art Walk. If you visit the Art Walk, drop by our office and say hi, and meet some of our fabulous Hawaii Lifers. We will be showing episodes of the HGTV show Hawaii Life, and we will have some food and drinks to share. (I am working on our menu now – this month it is Mexican food from Paco’s Tacos.)

The Hawaii Life Kapaa office is located in downtown Kapaa – across the street from the Eastside Restaurant, Mermaid Cafe, and Java Kai coffee house

If you have trouble finding the Hawaii Life office at night, look for our “signal” on the sidewalk

The Art Walk officially goes from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, but things usually stay lively until well after 9:00. I would recommend you arrive early in the evening when it is easier to find a good parking place. If you do make it to the Art Walk, come by and say hi!
