I recently had an opportunity to view this secluded property on Keauhou Bay (MLS# 239830). It was an inspiring and peaceful visit. Just a few minutes south of Kailua Kona, this property has claim to fame that includes the Hawaiian Alii as well as Hollywood. The feel of old Hawaii is everywhere.

We used a golf cart to drive along the rest of the almost 3 acres so we could take it all in. We drove under the tree where John Wayne married his 3rd wife, took in the pool with its beautiful blue tile, and walked the large deck where Hollywood parties were held.

This gated property has lots of secluded parking for guests, tennis courts for when you are done with ocean activities, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the ocean breezes.

Since the dock is private, you can sit on the dock of the bay with plenty of room for lawn chairs and water toys. It’s easy to launch paddleboards, kayaks, or just go for some of the best snorkeling Keauhou Bay has to offer. There is also a ladder for access to the bay with easy egress. We hated to leave this ocean side estate.

Separate Guest Quarters

Located just behind the pool house are two spacious and separate guest hales each with their own bath and private entry. Near the gated entrance to the estate is a fully contained guest or caretaker’s cottage, which includes a kitchen, living room, master suite, and two guest bedrooms and bath.
