Ocean Pointe is a relatively new community on Oahu at the western area of Ewa Beach. Developed by Haseko starting in the mid to late 1990, it is considered to be truly one of the most desirable and fastest selling neighborhood locations on Oahu. It is located almost at the end of the Fort Weaver Rd. in Ewa Beach towards the west side.

This lovely community is almost Norman Rockwellesque in its design and appeal. It just feels like home when you drive through.

Ocean Pointe and Hoakalei Living Options

There are several choices in housing developments and living styles to choose from. Single family homes include the Ocean Pointe residences and Hoakalei Ka Makana homes just west of the Ewa Gentry Laulani Tides homes.

Set on the western border is Hoakalei Resort with its Ernie Els signature golf course at the Hoakalei Country Club. Also planned are an exclusive Beach Club offering oceanfront dining and other amenities.

Combine that with new commercial construction of the new Laulani Village Safeway complex, with Ross, Petco, Walgreens and City Mill right around the corner and you have the recipe for a perfect community in the opinion of many.

What to Expect When Buying an Ocean Pointe Property

Current pricing is running from $249,000 for a 2 bedroom, 2/5 bath townhome to $789,000 for a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home in Hoakalei.

The experience with my own listings in Ocean Pointe has been that, when priced well, there typically are multiple offers resulting in a swift contract with a final sales price that is, oftentimes, above asking price. These home go very, very quickly. Simply put, there are more buyers than there is available properties in this high demand neighborhood.
