Aloha friends! Here we are wrapping up 2022 over a weekend. This warrants a celebration, indeed! Maui NYE is all about the fireworks. There is a formal display happening on the West Side. Wailea is still hush hush about any plans but I’m hearing we can expect them this year. With residents all over the island putting on displays, you can pretty much find a view anywhere. I love watching from Upcountry where I can see the whole island lit up.
There will be several charters going out for the fireworks, most of which have sold out already but you can check with Pacific Whale Foundation, Pride of Maui or the Alii Nui. For land lovers, Mala in Lahaina is having a White Party to roll in 2023. Taverna in Kapalua is also hosting their annual New Year’s Eve bash. Whatever you are doing to celebrate the new year, I hope you enjoy it fully. Wishing you all a healthy, sweet, and bountiful 2023. Happy New Year!!
