Aloha Readers! With my first blog post, I’d like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. I am a Real Estate agent with Mauna Kea Realty, serving both buyers and sellers along the Kohala/Kona Coast. Though I am not new to real estate or the Island, I feel very fortunate to be a new Hawaii resident and Realtor at Mauna Kea Realty.
Born in Santa Barbara, California, and raised in Boulder, Colorado, I started my real estate career in my home town of Santa Barbara and the Montecito area. My boyfriend, who is born and raised in Waimea, was working in commercial real estate in Santa Barbara while I was working in the residential sector of the market. When the opportunity arose to come work at Mauna Kea Realty, we decided to move to Hawaii. Being that my family has lived in Santa Barbara for over 60 years and that I still have many clients there, I decided to keep my California license active which allows me the ability to service and represent clients in both locations.
With a strong mainland reach, I believe that being active in both states will be beneficial to clients and colleagues as California and Hawaii are already very much intertwined.
I pride myself on utilizing a collaborative approach and building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues. I enjoy bringing a fresh perspective to staging homes and marketing high-end properties.
