Oahu has breathtaking beaches. Stroll along some of the most amazing beaches, with crystal clear blue waters.
#3 The Weather
The weather is truly amazing. Temperatures are warm all year long. We really don’t have seasons but Summer is considered May to October and Winter is from November to April. The average temperature in the summer is in the high 80s, and in the winter, the weather is in the low 80s.
#4 Outdoor Living
With the great temperatures year-round, there’s so much to do if you like being outdoors. From hiking, snorkeling, surfing, kayaking, paddle-boarding and so much more.
#5 Amazing Sunrises and Sunsets
Oahu has some of the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Seeing the sunrise over the ocean or set is truly awe-inspiring. The colors can range from beautiful oranges, reds, pinks, blues, yellows, purples creating the perfect romantic backdrop.
#6 Island Time
Have you heard about Island Time? Everything in Hawaii runs off-island time. There’s no rush to do anything. Everything will happen when it should and when you get there.
#7 Island Hopping
Want to get away to another island? Each island in the Hawaii chain is unique in its own way. To island-hop, it’s a short airplane trip, about 30 minutes and you’re on another island.

Hawaii is a melting pot of cultures, which you can only imagine, the food is diverse and delicious. Dishes to try include, Saimin, Spam Musubi, the plate lunch, Kalua Pig and Malasadas.

Although the monarchy is long gone, the Hawaii culture is alive and traditions live on. A great place to visit is the Iolani Palace. It’s the only royal palace in the United States.

I agree with only a couple of your 10 reasons to live in Hawaii. You are a real estate professional so I understand it is to your advantage to ‘sell’ Hawaii.
But to be helpful to potential buyers I think it is good to be honest and show good and bad.
Hawaii is very pretty with great weather.
Many nice beaches and clear warm water.
Beautiful sunsets and rainbows.
Good local food but it doesn’t appeal to many from the mainland.
Hawaii is #1 highest cost of living.
It is #2 for tax burden. Behind NY
Honolulu is #3 for price of buying a home behind NY and SF
Groceries are more than double mainland prices.
Many beaches are inaccessible due to homeless people and their garbage.
People are NOT welcome on the beaches the homeless live on.
Interisland travel is fun but very expensive. Plane, cars, hotels.
I don’t know where you live but the Aloha spirit is good in small neighborhoods but not in crowded stores or on crowded beaches or crowded parking lots.
Tourists are not wanted except in Waikiki where they are ‘supposed’ to stay.
Wages are below national average for almost all occupations.
Leeward Oahu is my favorite area but I tell visitors not to go there. Rental cars are ripe for theft and untanned tourists are not welcomed by most residents.
I like Hawaii but the population is shrinking because the best and the brightest leave for better opportunities in the mainland. The state and local governments love tourists because they can be taxed without being able to vote.
HART is a classic example of government spending for special interest contracts and a system that quite possibly will never carry many people and be a huge expense forever. Just my thoughts on what people might expect if they move here.

I live on Maui, check the crime rate @ any beach community, if the surf lackies aren’t stealing anything and everything they are Lying about anything & everything. Easy to spot they do this pose it’s basically Blue Steel right out of the movie Zoolander, they think that the more people that they Dumb Down it gives them some sort of credibility. Not So.!! But you don’t have to worry about just one of them because they will attack you like monkeys from behind, they Don’t Like You & They Don’t Want You Here.. !!!!!!!
