Location
8807 Kamehameha Hwy is located in idyllic Pukoo on the east side of Molokai. This 10+ acre hillside property has sweeping coastline, Pacific ocean, and Maui views. Molokai itself is a relatively small island; it’s only 38 miles by 10 miles, which makes it the fifth-largest island in the Hawaiian islands chain. So if you and the other 7,300 Molokai residents are looking for a slow pace and private lifestyle, you’ve found it.
What’s On The Property?
The sophisticated and modern 2,160 sqft workshop is constructed out of prefabricated steel and has polished concrete floors, stainless steel and quartz countertops, Viking appliances, and designer chrome fixtures. There’s a spacious loft, bathroom, outdoor shower, covered lanai, and built-in BBQ. The land is outstanding for farming and includes a large greenhouse with a wifi-controlled irrigation system, as well as a fruit orchard. Water to the property is supplied via a 1″ County meter as well as rainwater catchment for irrigation. Power is provided by a rooftop PV array with a saline battery system. The entire property is fenced and gated to keep wildlife out of the vegetation. There are private caretaker/guest quarters, as well as several stunning building sites for a main house and Ohana. These sites have been graded and laid out for easy visualization.
Lifestyle
The property borders State land with exceptional hunting, axis deer, feral goats, and wild pigs, to name a few. The nearby waters are known for bonefishing, wading through the crystal clear blue waters on Molokai’s east shore while tracking bonefish sounds like a nice way to spend your time. Pukoo Beach has fantastic snorkeling, kayaking, SUP, windsurfing, kiting, and beachcombing. Also nearby are great hikes such as Wailau Trail.
