Maui Weekend Events – January 10

Aloha friends! The weekend on Maui is here and we are in the thick of festive season. Maui Pops Orchestra presents Broadway Pops at the MACC on Sunday. The JCSM presents Zen Dinner with Naoko Moller. Reminder that Champagne Hale at Cliffhouse is seating weekends again and Mala is the spot on the west side for late night food and drink.

Maui Pops Orchestra – Broadway Pops

This annual show sells out every year. This year, Broadway and Beyond features vocalists Capathia Jenkins and Ryan Shaw. They join Music Director James Durham and the Maui Pops Orchestra in a celebration of your favorite music from Broadway and beyond. They are performing Sunday afternoon at the MACC’s Castle Theater. Show starts 3 pm. Food and beverage will be available for purchase from 1 – 3 pm in the Yokouchi Pavilian.

Zen Dinner with Naoko Moller

The Japanese Cultural Society of Maui presents Zen Dinner with Naoko Moller at the Kahului Jodo Mission. There will be two sessions offered this Saturday. The first session is 4:00 and the next one is 6:30 pm. A zen dinner refers to vegetarian food that is prepared and eaten mindfully.  It is meant to nurture mind, body and spirit.

Champagne Hale at Cliff House

The Montage at Kapalua Bay is seating the Champagne Hale at Cliff House on weekends again. The pop up at Cliff House with epic views, champagne and pupus is the perfect way to cap off a day at the beach or pool. Seating is 5 – 7 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Late Night at Mala

For late night dining and entertainment, Mala Tavern presents Late Night at Mala. Late night at Mala offers a special late-night menu on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 pm – 12:00 am. The menu has a lot of unique and tasty items and several delicious craft cocktails.
