Aloha friends! This weekend on Maui brings you the culmination of 2023. This warrants a celebration, indeed! Maui NYE is all about the fireworks. There will be two professional displays this year: one in Wailea at the Grand Wailea Resort and the other at the Four Seasons in Lanai at Manele Bay Road. Both are scheduled to start at 11:59 pm. There will be several charters going out for the fireworks, most of which have sold out already but you can check with Pacific Whale Foundation, Pride of Maui or the Alii Nui.
Taverna in Kapulua is also hosting their annual New Year’s Eve bash. Kula Lodge is hosting a night of dinner and dancing with an Upcountry view of the fireworks. Those ready to start the celebrations on Friday can take a trip down memory lane at a special night of Tsuanami’s by the Grand Wailea.

New Year’s Eve Boat Cruises
While most of these are sold out already, you may still get lucky.
Pacific Whale Foundation is offering a Cocktail Sail as well as Cocktail Cruises.
Alii Nui is offering a NYE Sail with appetizers and full bar service.
Pride of Maui offers dinner and a premium open bar.
Tsunami’s at The Grand Wailea
Grand Wailea brings back Tsunami’s this Friday night. Doors open at 8:00 pm and close at 1:00 am. Tickets are general admission for $50 or VIP for $125. The night will feature Hawaiʻi’s Finest, DJ Anit plus a special pop-up with renowned mixology team.
Taverna’s Annual New Year’s Eve Bash
Taverna promises a night of Aloha Spirit. The theme of party is “Big Ohana Night”. Party starts at 10:00 pm and runs until 1:30 am. There will be a full dinner menu and cocktail specials. General Admission and VIP tickets available.
Kula Lodge & Restaurant
For an Upcountry view of the fireworks, get a seat at the Kula Lodge for dinner and dancing. There will be a couple seatings in the night. First seating is $69 and second seating is $99. Duration is 4 hours. Call the restaurant at 808-878-1535 or use OpenTable for reservations.
