Aloha friends! This weekend is the start of Christmas on Maui! Lots of great opportunities to get into the spirit and do some shopping. Maui Mall Village is offering selfies with Santa and the Elves and a hula performance to support its holiday food drive. Hui No’eau is hosting their Holidays Santa’s Workshop. Maui Holistic Fair will be held this Sunday at the Wailea Healing Center. ProArts Maui is offering a donation-based yoga class Friday morning. Friday night is also the opening for The Reluctant Elf, a holiday sing-along show. On Sunday evening, Eric Gilliom’s White Hawaiian takes the stage.
Mele Kalikimaka Magic, Festive Holiday Music & Performance and Selfies with Santa at the Maui Mall Village
Every Saturday this month from 3:00 – 6:00 pm, head to Maui Mall Village for a plethora of holiday fun. These events are to support the Joyful Giving Holiday Food Drive benefiting Maui Food Bank. Selfies with Santa and the Elves for donations to the Food Drive. Holiday hula performance by Hui Lanakila Productions from 5:00 – 6:00 pm.
Hui Holidays Santa’s Workshop
This Saturday, head to the Kaluanui Estate for an exciting holiday family event. The Hui Holidays Santa’s Workshop takes place from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. This is a great opportunity for the community to enjoy art, music, and fun at the Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center. Santa Clause and a free keiki art activity on site from 10 am – noon. Live music by Jordan Soon. Support local artists at this Santa’s Workshop event.
Maui Holistic Fair & Crystal Sale
Maui Holistic Fair is hosting this Sunday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm at the Wailea Healing Center. Crystals, jewelry and art available for sale. Talented practitioners offering astrology, tarot, akashic readings, bodywork, energy healing, aura photography and more. This is a free event. ProArts Playhouse Maui
ProArts Playhouse is offering a donation-based yoga class for the community. Classes to be held every Friday in December at 9:30 am. The Reluctant Elf opens this Friday night. This is a family friendly show featuring all your favorite Christmas songs. What better way to find your Christmas cheer than to sing along with your favorites! The show will run through December 10 with showings every day this weekend and next Thursday through Sunday. There will be a special sensory friendly showing this Saturday afternoon as well. Sunday afternoon brings the return of Eric Gilliom’s “White Hawaiian”. This show is so in demand that is featured weekly on Sundays. Start time this week is 7:00 pm.
