Maui Weekend Events – August 15

Aloha friends! As the weekend rolls into view, Maui comes alive with a vibrant palette of festivities, flavors, and cultural experiences. Whether you’re craving the thrill of live performances, the elegance of a gala, the warmth of family gatherings, or simply the pleasure of good food under the island sun, there’s something special waiting for everyone. Dive into the heart of the Valley Isle and discover the events that are lighting up Maui this weekend!

Bring It Home

Adaptations Dance Theater presents Bring It Home this weekend. Bring It Home is a dynamic dance performance celebrating local talent and innovative choreography. Taking place at the Historic Iao Theater, the show promises an inspiring evening of movement that highlights the spirit and creativity of Maui’s dance community. Showtimes 7 pm Friday and Saturday and 2 pm on Sunday.

Maui Calls

The main event of the weekend is the much awaited Maui Calls. The 27th Annual Maui Calls takes place this Saturday. This is the MACC’s signature gala event and Maui’s premiere food and wine tasting event. The night will feature wines from all over the country, some of your favorite Maui restaurants and live entertainment as well as a silent auction. There are several different sponsorship levels. This is a 21 and over event.

Lau Ke Aloha

Aloha Makena presents Lau Ke Aloha this Sunday afternoon. This will be an opportunity to learn about native species, participate in art sessions working with native species and play Hawaiian games. Lau Ke Aloha will be a family friendly and free community event at the gorgeous Makena Golf and Beach Club. Games start at 2 pm and art sessions from 3:30 – 5 and 5:30 – 7 pm.

Champagne Hale at Cliff House

The Montage at Kapalua Bay will be seating the Champagne Hale at Cliff House this weekend. The pop up at Cliff House with epic views, champagne and pupus is the perfect way to cap off a day at the beach or pool. They offer a two-hour experience with seating at 5 – 7 pm on Friday and Saturday this weekend.

Summer Sundays

The Royal Lahaina presents new this summer: The Summer Sunday BBQ Series. This will be a recurring event this summer every Sunday from 11 am – 2 pm. Island style barbecue, drinks, lawn games, music and more all part of the beachside fun.
