Aloha friends! It is the last weekend of April. Is it me or has this year been blazing by?! Extra important to take the time to have some fun with your family and loved ones when it feels like that. This weekend offers the 2nd Annual Maui Nui Golf Tournament hosted by Maui Scouting. Down the Hatch is celebrating national Adopt a Shelter Pet Day with free pup cups this Sunday. Take the opportunity to have a beer with your real bestie. Mala ‘til Midnight delivers late night menu and cocktails Saturday night. Live music pick for the week is Tempa & Naor Project featuring Willy Wainright playing at Mulligan’s this Saturday night. And lastly, Kihei’s 4th Friday Town Party will kick off the weekend on the South side.
Maui Nui Golf Tournament 2023
Last year’s tournament by Maui Scouting at the Dunes Maui Lani was so successful, they decided to bring it back bigger and better. Tournament will be held this Saturday with shotgun start at 7:00 am. Single player, two-somes and scramble options as well as course contests. Food stations on site. To-go breakfast and lunch offered. Prizes including a two-night stay at the Four Seasons. Lots of sponsorship options available too.
National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day at Down the Hatch
Down the Hatch celebrates National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day all day this Sunday. Bring your adopted pet with you and get a free pup cup for your best buddy. This event serves as a thank you to all those who adopt rather than shop.
Mala ‘Til Midnight
For late night dining and entertainment, Mala Tavern presents Mala ’til Midnight. Mala ‘til Midnight offers a special late-night menu on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00 pm – 12:00 am. Saturday is also Ladies’ Night. ‘Aipono Award winner for best late-night dining 2022 will not disappoint. The menu has a lot of unique and tasty items as well as arguably the best burger on Maui. Do not skip the oyster shooters! The menu also features several delicious craft cocktails worth trying for yourself.
Tempa & Naor Project featuring Willy Wainright
You can always count on Mulligan’s on the Blue to curate great talent for their live entertainment. So when I saw that Tempa & Naor Project were playing there every Saturday, I knew they were worth checking out. Beautiful vocals with a folky funky vibe. They are playing this Saturday from 6 – 8 pm. There is no cover for this show.
Kihei 4th Friday
Kihei 4th Friday town party takes place on the fourth Friday of every month. This is such a fun event for the family with over 20 food truck vendors, local retail vendors and family activities. There is also a keiki zone with face painting, balloon twisting, hula hoops, bubbles and quick science.
