Maui Film Festival Presents “99 Homes” – A Real Estate Horror Movie
Reading this blog post will ruin your real estate day. You’re welcome. #foreclosurehell
Contrast is a valuable life tool. Looking at the unsavory can sometimes help to reinforce the savory. For this reason I’m going to ruin your day by asking you to check out the trailer for this outrageous real estate horror movie “99 Homes,” which will be screening at the Maui Film Festival’s Firstlight: Academy Screenings.
Firstlight is a great yearly celebration of film that happens right around the end of the year. Thanks to Barry and Stella Rivers for spending untold hours and years of their lives making sure we have this great cinematic opportunity. On the lineup this year is what looks to be one of the most heinous real estate horror movies ever. Based on true events, the film celebrates chronicles the worst of the foreclosure bottom feeders. Check out the trailer below.
Seriously though, foreclosure is a dirty word, but it’s not always inevitable. If you are feeling the crunch and would like to explore options, shoot me an email and I’ll see if I can point you in the direction of some relief.
“99 Homes” screens November 29 at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. More information can be found at the Maui Film Festival website.

Wow! That movie looks heavy. I just looked it up and can’t wait to watch it in early February. Thanks for calling it out Liam and offering a helping hand that people can trust when in need.

Due to a real estate mini fire, I was unable to attend but the trailer looks so scary I’m not sure I can handle it! I suppose there’s value in acquainting oneself with the worst of the worst in our industry – even if it’s fiction. Will keep us pointing in the direction of serving the client. I’ll go with you and Mega in Feb!
