Kukui’ula is now offering more homesites with 7-day rental privileges on South Kauai. The private community’s County of Kauai Visitor Destination Area (VDA) status gives the entitlement. However, the developer placed 6-month rental limits on homesites in the Kahalawai Neighborhood and the oceanfront Kula Makai Neighborhood.

The entire Kahalawai Neighborhood, with its panoramic ocean views, was revised to allow for 30-day rentals. Now, certain Kahalawai homesites have been further revised to allow 7-day rentals for future residences.
Twelve oceanview homesites overlooking the Kahalawai Orchard now enjoy 7-day rental privileges: Kahalawai Lots 31 through 44 and Kahalawai Lots 53, 54 and 55. Priced from $695,000 to $995,000.

The 85-homesite Kaulu Neighborhood is located within walking distance of the private resort community’s Plantation House and Hi’ilani Spa and has always enjoyed 7-day rental privileges.
