Kokua For Japan – A Benefit Concert For Japanese Earthquake & Pacific Tsunami Disaster Relief
As most of the world is aware of the tragic disaster that the people of Japan have been dealing with, there have been many organizations and groups of people throughout the world that are reaching out to help in so many ways to assist in the relief efforts. Here in Hawaii, there are several different organizations that have joined together throughout all the Hawaiian Islands to help Japan.
One of the larger events that will take place is Kokua For Japan, a benefit concert on April 10th, 2011 from 12:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. at the Hilton Hawaiian Village at The Great Lawn. This is a concert that the Hawaii Red Cross has organized and brought together with international recording artists and Hawai’i top entertainers.
All proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross for disaster relief. Tickets can still be purchased at The Honolulu Box Office for just $15 and for those of you who can’t make the event, or just wish to donate, The Hawaii Red Cross will be able to help you with your donation.
Hilton Hawaiian Village
There are so many different companies, organizations, groups, and individuals in Hawaii that have joined together to raise much-needed funds for the earthquake and tsunami victims of Japan.
The people of Hawaii are caring and compassionate people, and it shows when so many come together and give of their time and money without ever thinking twice.
It’s exceptional efforts like these that remind me of how fortunate I am to live this Hawaii life!

I think it is great that Willie is still growing strong, may god bless him with very good health and longer life ahead, we need his music. I am working with my daughter to make a project for her class on global citizen and she has picked Willie Nelson, we have his Bio and some info about what he has done, now we need what two songs did he sing at the concert of Kokua for Japan in 2011 for for the earthquake and tsunami, or more songs he has sung, please and thank you.
