In my volunteer work as president of the Kauai Board of Realtors, I’ve taken on enrolling as many people as possible to contributing to the Kauai branch of Habitat for Humanity as they raise money to build new homes for three deserving, hard-working families on Kauai.
A part of that contribution will be physical labor, as Realtors from all around Kauai are turning out this weekend to take up hammers and nails for two days of building affordable homes in Anahola at the Kauai Habitat For Humanity Build-a-Thon.
But the biggest part of that contribution is financial. As with any charitable contribution, every dollar counts, and it’s the combined efforts of a lot of people that raises the most money. We have a huge goal ($50,000), and we still have a long way to go.
Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers, through it’s Real Good Program, has agreed to match the donations of its individual brokers and agents.
Today, I’m asking for your support. Donating is simple. Please take a minute to contribute whatever you can.

Such a worthy cause!!! I had the privilege of participating in the build-a-thon this past weekend in Anahola. It was so awesome to work alongside Habitat for Humanity’s awesome staff, the hardworking and deserving homeowners, their friends and family, and the Realtor community! It was my first time participating, and it will not be my last.
