If I have learned anything during this pandemic, it is that living in the right development, with access to a variety of amenities, counts more than anything. Kapalua Bay Villas is one of my favorite developments, with a dramatic ocean frontage, access to Kapalua Bay and Oneloa Bay, walking and hiking trails, in a low density, park-like setting.
Out of the 141 units available, in the 27 low rise buildings, only five are 1bd/2 full baths, with a living area of 1,093 sf. The majority of the 1bd units only have 1 or 1.5 bathrooms, and we have anecdotal evidence of at least seven owners trying to modify such floorplan to add another full bath. The permitting process and the intricacies of the project makes it cost prohibitive, though. Floorplan C, 1bd/2ba, is also available only on the garden/ground level in buildings 18, 24, 27, 28 and 38. Kapalua Bay Villa 24G 1-2 has been remodeled and upgraded to meet the most discerning taste. Take a 3D Tour through this unit and call us if you want to see it in person. Although in a vacation rental program with Outrigger Resorts, this unit is easy to show now, before the numbers visitors to Maui increase.
