Journey To A Healthy Attitude

Aloha Friends,

Feeling down? Improving your mood can sometimes be hard to do. Especially with the holiday season approaching, and you may find it challenging to get it all done. I’ve got great news; there are proven techniques to help you wake up on the right side of the bed. One of the best ways to improve your mood is to exercise with yoga. While yoga does have countless physical benefits to help change your attitude, the psychological benefits are every bit as powerful.

The basis of yoga is to establish a strong connection from your body to your mind and then use this energy to focus inward. When the mind and body are in sync, you will achieve goals faster with a more powerful attitude. Whatever your journey is, you can enjoy it more with a healthy body and a peaceful mind.

One great thing about practicing yoga is you can easily do it every day. It does not take much time at all, and at the end of your routine, you will go about your day with a sense of accomplishment. To have the confidence of positive thought is extremely important. A simple daily or even bi-weekly routine will add the best joy to your life. A joy experienced when you work on something important and exciting like “yourself.”

There is also something to be said for the uplifting physical and mental effects of a good chemical vibration in your brain. All types of exercise, including yoga, will cause your brain to release mood-altering chemicals such as endorphins. What are endorphins exactly? Well, endorphins are sort of natural opiates released by the pituitary gland during strenuous exercise, excitement, or orgasm.

Now seriously tell me, does that sound like something you want more of? This stuff is not just hearsay either; the effects of yoga on mood have been substantiated by academic research (Lavey, 2005). The conclusions of these studies have shown people who participated in the studies said they were less anxious, depressed, angry, and had higher energy with a more peaceful mind.

At the end of the day, what do you have to lose except your bad mood? I passionately suggest you try something new. Do yoga, and you will jump-start your journey to a better tomorrow.
