When done correctly, Dharana will shut off chaotic thoughts and teach you to focus your mind on a single point, thought, object, or goal. If you use Dharana as part of your daily meditation, then it will reduce mental stress and strengthen your ability to concentrate. You can accomplish more challenges in less time when you simply eliminate the confusion from an indecisive mind.

Close your eyes. See your tensions flow from your physical body. Mentally scan your body from head to toe, feeling deep relaxation and peace within. Return to your true essence of love and compassion. Your heart is light and filled with love. Breathe and be still.
