Honolulu – Right on Target in Ala Moana!

Target lovers your day has come. This may as well be news of the century. Target Ala Moana opened its doors this week. There is now a new 2 story Target store in Honolulu. This adds to food, clothing, and home supply shopping options right in town. Have you visited the new store yet?

Location, Location, Location!

For anyone reading this that doesn’t understand what all the hoopla is about, let me give you an idea. Up until now, the only option was to shop at the west side Target in Honolulu.  The location is simply inconvenient for many. It’s too far. The new Target Ala Moana is centrally located on Kapiolani Blvd. It’s right next to Ala Moana Center, across the street from Walgreens, and a block away from Walmart and Sam’s Club. Residents can easily pop by the store without having to make a long drive to pick up a few items. The location of the new Target at Ala Moana is just perfect!

Convenience Is Everything!

Target Ala Moana is just the latest addition to the growing urban core of Honolulu. Ala Moana Center has been expanding rapidly over the last few years. Bloomingdale’s and Saks off 5th are two of the newer stores, and Nordstrom moved over to a larger location. In fact, anyone who is familiar with the old Nordstrom will easily find the new Target Ala Moana in that same location. Several new restaurants have moved into the mall area, and new businesses are moving closer. Residents can easily park at the mall, and conveniently visit multiple stores in one shopping trip. The convenience is unbelievable!!!

One Ala Moana residents are particularly lucky, as the new Target store is literally steps away from their front door.  Running out of bread or eggs will never be the same again, as Target carries a large assortment of groceries on the second level of the store.

Urban Living in Paradise

Many high rise condos fill the urban core of the city. There is the famous Waikiki with retro buildings dating back to the ’60s and ’70s along one of the most visited beaches in Hawaii, Waikiki Beach. Waikiki residents love the busy, touristy vibe of the neighborhood. Restaurants are around every corner, and the beach is steps away from any building in the neighborhood.

Ultra Luxury living has been redefined with the construction of Park Lane Ala Moana condos. The development was and still is a draw for homeowners who no longer want the responsibility of maintaining a single family home. With over 100 floorplans, many of which include private garages, Park Lane across from Ala Moana Beach Park, has become a go-to development for those seeking luxury, location, lifestyle, and convenience all rolled up into one.

Residents that desire to have newer, trendier condos, are flocking to Kakaako. Much of the condo development is currently taking place in this beachside neighborhood. Lifestyle and convenience are drawing people more towards the urban core of Honolulu. Residents can walk, bike, or scooter around the neighborhood, making stops at Target Ala Moana, movie theater, local stores, the mall, medical offices, gyms, and other businesses. The age of the automobile is over. While everyone owns a car, people choose to lave their vehicles parked as much as possible.  Kakaako is the perfect Honolulu neighborhood for this type of living. Everything is close by, and people can use their free time to enjoy Ala Moana Beach Park or gather with friends at one of many restaurants. Kakaako and Ala Moana businesses understand the residents’ needs, and cater to the active lifestyle.

Target Hit Bullseye at Ala Moana!

The new Target at Ala Moana is a perfect addition to the Honolulu urban core. The new store adds to the mix of high end, and discount stores already available to shoppers, and also adds another grocery store option. The location couldn’t be more perfect for so many. With easy parking, access, and central location, it’s bound to become a go-to store for residents living in the nearby condos, as well as home owners from nearby neighborhoods.

Honolulu is truly an amazing city to live in. Warm ocean, beautiful views, amazing lifestyle, and nearly perfect year-round weather…and now Target is right in town. Yey!!!
