The Pinetrees Longboard Classic is one of Kaua‘i’s longest-running surf contests, honoring the island’s deep surfing heritage and the artistry of longboarding. Surfers of all ages come together to compete in various divisions, including an exciting tandem category, where duos perform synchronized maneuvers on a single board. With a lively mix of competition, camaraderie, and local culture, this event captures the true spirit of Hawai‘i’s surf scene.

A New Chapter with Kaua‘i Boardriders Club

This year marks an exciting transition as the Kaua‘i Boardriders Club officially takes the helm of the event. As part of the Hawai‘i Surf Association, the Boardriders Club is dedicated to preserving Hawai‘i’s rich surf culture while supporting a strong sense of community and healthy competition. Their stewardship ensures that the Pinetrees Longboard Classic will continue to thrive for generations to come.
