Hawaii Life Charitable Fund grants for 2017 are awarded semi-annually, in the amount of $1,000 to each eligible grant recipient chosen by the organization’s Board of Directors. The application deadline is June 30, 2017, and submissions will be reviewed by the HLCF Board and selected next monthly board meeting following that date. Disbursements will be made immediately upon approval to the awarded organizations.
A Hale For All
Each year a giving focus or theme is chosen by Hawaii Life agents and grants are awarded to organizations whose charitable purposes fall within that theme, and are aligned with the HLCF mission. For the 2017 calendar year, the HLCF giving focus of A Hale For All was selected – thus all 2017 grants will be awarded to those organizations that support housing initiatives aimed at reducing homelessness in Hawaii, and at providing affordable housing alternatives.
