Hawaii Five-O took the #1 spot again for television ratings on Monday.
This listing in Kaaawa (MLS# 1012308) is just around the corner from Kahana Valley hunting scene
This week’s episode started off with two hunters looking for wild boar in Kahana Valley when they discover a woman that was running for safety. Meanwhile, McGarrett and Chin Ho are spear diving at the scenic Chinaman’s Hat nearby in Kaaawa. Just as the two were starting to enjoy their time, they got buzzed about the incident and get called in.
For those of you that don’t know, Kaaawa is located on Oahu’s windward coast. Jason Scott Lee, one of Hawaii’s best know actors who appeared the in Mana’o episode, used to have a home in Kaaawa. It’s one of the most scenic stretches on Oahu.

The Five-O Team starts to discover that the woman was abducted from her hotel room, and also realizes that the suspect is a serial killer. Once they put the pieces together, they discover his next victim may be on Kauai, and he’s going there by cruise ship.
The setting used for the ship itself happened to be in the lobby of the Kahala Hotel, and the special effects team did an amazing job. The terminal on Kauai was also shot on Oahu at the Aloha Tower, and it appeared that the final scene, which was supposed to take place on Kauai, appeared to be the Pali lookout on Oahu. The whole production was put together beautifully.
