Halemalu is the smallest neighborhood in Kehalani, built in 1996 by the then C. Brewer Homes, now known as Hawaii Land & Farming Co. Inc.
It consists of just 30 single-family homes on one street, aptly named Halemalu Place.
A total of 6 floor plans were used, and all of them were one story. The homes range in size from a 3 bed/2 bath 1,106 sqft to 4 bed/2 bath 1,834 sqft. Single story houses with 4 bedrooms are in great demand in Maui real estate, and Halemalu is just one of the few neighborhoods in Kehalani to have them.

Halemalu Lot Sizes
Lot sizes range from 5,014 sqft to 7,684 sqft and all lots are level. The outlier is the triangular lot at the end of the cul-de-sac that comes in at a whopping 10,001 sqft.
One of the most unique features about Halemalu is that it’s situated beside a park where a nearby herd of goats graze. Unfortunately, the once lively park has been closed in recent years due to drainage issues. But that doesn’t stop passersby from enjoying the livestock!
