Save the Date – Habitat for Humanity Golf Tournament at Hokulia

One of my favorite non-profit organizations here on the Big Island is Habitat for Humanity. For years, Habitat for Humanity has been providing housing assistance for families island-wide. According to their website, “Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes, by advocating for fair and just housing policies, and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.”

Established in 2002, Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii is supported by over 1,200 volunteers who have constructed 21 homes for eligible families. Programs such as home construction, renovations and repair, recycling of household materials and goods are just a few of the services Habitat provides to our community.

Help Support This Great Cause

If you would like to support this incredible organization, sign up for their golf tournament fundraiser at The Club at Hokulia, January 12, 2015. Charity golf tournaments are a great way to play golf at some of the best golf courses on the Big Island while supporting a charitable cause. Details such as tournament fees and schedule are being finalized, but I will be sure to post more information as soon as it comes available.

Can you tell me if there is a Habitat for Humanity golf tournament in 2017? If there is, can you send me information. Thank you.
