Kokua Kailua Village Stroll | Kailua Village | Sunday, June 9th | 1:00 PM
First thing you might ask what’s Kokua? Kokua in Hawaiian language is used to describe the spirit of kindness accompanied by a desire to help one another, without expecting anything in return. Every 2nd or 3rd Sunday of the month, from 1pm to 6pm Alii Drive in Kona’s Historic Kailua Village becomes a good-times place. The main reason is to promote Kailua Village businesses and community and encourage ALL to Shop, Dine & Buy Local. The road is closed from Kailua Pier to Hualalai Road where the Kokua vendors gather to showcase their best local products. Pedestrian only, this outdoor market makes a great family-friendly event where you could bring your furry babies too!
