It’s Fall here on the Valley Isle. Wait—what? You can’t tell. You haven’t noticed the seasonal change.
That’s because we live in the best locale on the planet. Yes the surf on the North Shore comes alive, we get our rain back, and maybe the Kona winds are more prevalent with the seasonal change, but overall, on average it’s within 5-10 degrees (Summer temperatures averaging a range in the area of highs of 85–with Lows hovering around 76 degrees, winter rolls in with average highs of 80 and lows of 70) change.
Don’t tell that to Kula Country Farms. A multi-generational family operation, farming the slopes of Kula, they’re helping us have some fun with the season.
Located just below Rice Park on Kula Highway, it’s a little bit of fun for all.
Selling all types of vegetables including kale, baby bok choy, acorn squash, lettuce, flowers, jams and jellies, they’re usually known for fresh produce and picking your own strawberries, but right now it’s all about the pumpkin.
Yes, the pumpkin patch is open. So, come up and have some fun.
