Elizabeth “Betsy” Orke – Homeowner and Loan Officer on a Mission to Be a Positive Influence

Elizabeth “Betsy” Orke was born in China, raised in Minnesota, and has lived in Hawai’i for the last nine years. As a professional, Betsy is honored to partner with Element Mortgage and be on a team that is innovative and technology savvy. Her career in the mortgage industry enables her to make a major impact in people’s lives through human connection, and to help others build their personal wealth and equity.

Since Betsy was raised by a single parent who was physically disabled and physically homebound through all of her childhood, and was in foster care in high school, she grew up fast. Influenced by these experiences, Betsy received her bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota. These experiences also shaped Betsy into the kind, passionate, empathetic, and hard working individual that she is today.

Although Betsy chooses to work with Element Mortgage because her company is recognized as one of the top mortgage lenders in the country, it’s the culture that Element Mortgage embodies that resonates most with her. The company’s core values of respect, transparency, and scrappiness in its relentless approach to serving customers have been instrumental in its longevity and growth.

As a homeowner herself, Betsy understands that every individual has a unique blueprint for purchasing a home. She knows that honest communication, reliability, and delivery are essential to earning trust, and staying up to date on the current market and real estate trends is crucial.

When she’s not helping clients, Betsy enjoys hiking, diving, surfing small kine waves, and loving life in Hawai’i. Her guilty pleasures include hot Cheetos and napping.
