Traditional and Contemporary Modern Architectural Elements
What do you get when you mix a plantation-style home with two shipping containers? In this case, a fusion of both traditional and contemporary modern architectural elements that really works! You’ll find the best features of island design mixed with contemporary fixtures and finishes, like the gleaming stainless steel countertops in the kitchen and the on-trend tile in the walk-in shower.
Corrugated metal blends seamlessly with traditional board and batten siding. Glass jalousie windows allow the trade winds to stream through the light and airy floor plan. Walls of glass invite the outdoors in; covered lanais expand the living space… and an outdoor shower garden?
Perched on a hillside overlooking Moloaa Valley, the property consists of nearly four acres and allows for the construction of a guesthouse. Indoors there are two bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a bonus room on the lower level, and multiple decks. Outside there’s plenty of room for gardening, and the property is already planted with a variety of fruit trees (mango, lime, grapefruit, orange, noni, coconut, passion fruit, avocado, loquat, and guava).
And did we mention the views? From nearly every window, you’ll gaze upon a sea of green: valley, forest, and mountain. As far as you can see, a million and one green and growing things, pumping oxygen into the atmosphere. And all you have to do is… breathe.
This peaceful location is considerably sunnier and drier than those further north. It’s off the beaten path, but just minutes from Moloaa Bay, Larsen’s Beach, and a number of other hidden gems.

The most beautiful part about this home is the way it makes one feel when inside. Perched above the treetops, it feels as though you are in a treehouse. When I’m in the home, my body and mind feel lighter. This property is so special for many reasons but with the Moloaa Valley wrapping around you, the feeling of peace is always at your fingertips…And plenty of fruit trees too:)
