Big Island life involves celebrating just about every possible holiday known to humankind – and Cinco de Mayo is no exception!
How about celebrating Cinco de Mayo on the Big Island’s Kohala Coast at the Mauna Kea Beach Resort?
When I first moved to Hawaii nearly 11 years ago, one of the things that struck me was how everyone celebrates all the holidays, from every culture on earth – how fantastic is that? Being from CA, of course, Cinco de Mayo is one of my favorites.
This year, I’m going to have a difficult time deciding between the deals at the Mauna Kea Resort – or the 300+ tequilas available at the new taco place at the Mauna Lani shops. Hmmm…which to choose? Of course, since they are only about 10 minutes ride apart, I could easily do both…Now, who’s volunteering to be my designated driver? Ole’!
