Best Deal in Honolulu Luxury Condos at the Allure Waikiki

Wow! This is how it goes these days, no sooner had I finished writing this blog, then the unit that was my ‘best deal’ went into contract. I will keep it on my radar of course, and let you know of its progress, especially should it fall out of contract, but, well…read on to see what I mean:

You want a smart, stylish, modern condo, and you just found the Allure Waikiki, but maybe you’re also wanting a deal?

So, which to choose? My money was on unit 2008, a Hibiscus floorplan, but this $870,000, 1,419 sq.ft., three bedroom, two bath condo, which had the distinction of being the lowest cost per square foot at $613.11/sq.ft., is now in contract. No surprise there.

The Best Deal Currently at Allure Waikiki

Now my choice goes to unit 1909, a 1,102 sq.ft. two bedroom, two bath unit (MLS# 1206958) offered at $740,000. This is a Hala unit and it sits high up in the building with a commanding view of the Ko’olau Mountains.

Other Available Allure Waikiki Units

There are two other Hala floorplan models available as of this writing, unit 1209 (MLS# 1204957) and unit 2809 (MLS# 1208140), but the former is only slightly less expensive than unit 1909 ($644.28/sq.ft. and $671.51/sq.ft., respectively).

Though 1209, it is a developer’s unit and thus has the distinction of never having been lived in, as opposed to 1909, which is a resale unit, the tradeoff seems mostly being a far less lofty view. Unit 2809, another developer’s unit, may be for view junkies the unit of choice, but it also increases the price per square foot by over $75.00 Here is the Hala floorplan:

Allure Waikiki Amenities

I love the Allure Waikiki. The building offers a host of modern amenities including: an approximately 19,500-square-foot private recreation terrace on the 6th floor with an exclusive resort-style pool, outdoor spa, and deck areas with WiFi, and a state-of-the-art, 2,200-square-foot fitness center with views of the pool and garden to name just a few.

I also love this neighborhood. It is one of those rare urban places that remind me of living in the Upper East side of Manhattan, or just off Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills with its quick access to the best shopping and dining, yet its ‘just off the beaten path’ location allows its occupants an escape from the hectic pace of daily life, a serenity few other Waikiki buildings can provide.

The Allure Waikiki is one of Honolulu’s newest and most modern of high rise condos, and with a bargain like this, it would be hard not to call it home.

Sounds like a definite property to add to the list if you are looking for a premier Waikiki condo.

I’m with you on 1909 — great, livable floorplan with gorgeous views. While it is a resale, is it still in good condition?
