Maui Real Estate Deals—best deals of the first two weeks of August, 2011.
This blog will focus on a wide spectrum of new listings and/or price reduced listings that I feel are the best Maui real estate deals at this time. This will cover homes, condos, and land all over the island of Maui.

Wailea Beach Villas Unit E-201 (MLS# 349107) is a potential short sale at $4,898,000. Being that this property is likely a short sale—the seller is in need of an offer. This luxurious 3 bed/3.5 bath condo is located in one of Wailea’s most sought after beachfront complexes. Read all about Wailea Beach Villas here.
429 Hoopalua Drive (MLS# 348962) is a brand new listing in one of Upcountry Maui’s most sought after neighborhoods—Kula 200. This 4 bed/3.5 bath home on almost 3.5 acres is located in what many consider to be Maui’s most pristine climates in lower Kula. This is a very rare offering and represents strong value at the $2.2M asking price.
72 Puu Hale St. (MLS# 349082) in Kaanapali Hillside is my favorite pick for a residential home in Kaanapali. Just recently listed at $999,000, this architectural gem, with the largest master bedroom I think I have ever seen (about 1,000 sq. ft.), is a steal.
170 Alaula Place (MLS# 349122) is a brand new bank owned listing in Wailea that is a Screaming Deal at $899,900. This home is located in the gated subdivision of Wailea Kiaoloa and has a very unique sort of “tree house” feel to it that takes advantage of the ocean views.
105 Kahana Nui Road (MLS# 349108) is a brand new bank owned listing to come up in Kahana Ridge—a very popular West Maui planned community. I showed this home the other day—it is very large and has some great materials, has a wonderful location in the subdivision, and has great ocean views. This home will require some additional cash, as it is a little rough around the edges.
Unit #602 at the Palms at Wailea (MLS# 349007) is a new bank owned condo in a very popular Wailea condo complex that is within walking distance of several gorgeous white sand beaches in Wailea. This 2 bed/2 bath condo is a great deal at $639,900.
268 Maka Hou Loop (MLS# 349113), a brand new, bank owned residential home in the Cottages at Kehalani, represents a very strong value for someone looking at almost brand new construction for a 3 bed/2.5 bath home of almost 1,650 sq. ft., priced at $414,900. I am currently representing another buyer on a very similar home to this one and can personally attest to the location, quality, and value.
Looking for a fixer upper? Look no further than 786 Kaulona Street (MLS# 349065), a new banked owned listing of a residential home in Makawao. It is in a good location close to schools and shopping in Upcountry Maui, and has a nice, fenced grassy yard.
Kihei Akahi #313 (MLS# 349009) is a great deal at $239,900 for a South Kihei one bedroom/one bathroom vacation rental condo. This bank owned condo is located right across the street from Kamaole Beach Park #2. This condo is one of the best values in South Kihei under $250K.
